The Last Supper

Well here it is folks, the Last Supper. As I sit here writing this blog there is so much that can't be expressed in words. Today was an interesting day, we went Caynoning in the DR. It was an awesome experience that can never be forgotten. From repelling off waterfalls to jumping off cliffs nothing more can express the fun and excitement that was had by all. This was a team building day and building us to face the reality of going back to Canada.

Realizing the time that we had in Puerto Plata and spending time in Calbrete and Sousa was an awesome experience. There were so many places that we visited from: DREAM Schools, Playa Dororada (Resort), La Cadin, Groupo M, different site visits to our areas of study. There is so many other places that I haven't begun to mention. I think that this is a start for Centennial College and the DR. Being in the DR has made me take on a whole perspective of the world. Not just in the area of Global Citizenship but in volunteering, communication, societal change and many other aspects.

I think the 8 students glad to be selected to participate in this experience and that there is so much that we can all take away. I hope that when we all get back in Canada tomorrow that everyone will be open to the new ideas and innovation we have to give.

Thanks to everyone who made this experience possible for the 11 of us. You made a difference in everyone lives and this is just the beginning.

We are looking forward to having you all back home to Centennial, to hear your stories, your ideas and the GCE impact you have made.
