It is with sadness that I write my final blog of our trip. The 2 weeks sped past as I expected. Time is one thing in this world that we cannot change and it is exhausting to work against it. This is one experience that will stay with me my brief life. I say brief because all life is short, so live it!
Today Guillermo and I went with a DREAM volunteer who is amazing. Lindsay Parr volunteers on her Saturdays to teach students outside of Sosua how to read. She does this after volunteering all week with DREAM.
Attached are pictures from today. It was absolutely amazing. Getting on a plane tomorrow is going to be tough. At the same time, it's hard not to miss Canada.
Buenas Tardes
Chris the pictures are heartwarming - kids looking happy in the company of adults who care! I'd love to hear more about the work that DREAM is doing when you are back home at Centennial.
